LISA WHITLEY COLEMAN is an award-winning writer and marketer, having received recognition for written, advertising, brochures and website projects.She is a master of administrative, management, brand strategy, public relations, marketing and business development endeavors. Lisa is one of those rare individuals whose talents allow her to be both creative and analytical. She has a history of proven success in streamlining tasks and processes, and cutting costs. Her projects are managed with speed, efficiency and accuracy, leaving clients hungry for more collaboration.

As a former journalist for both the Dallas Business Journal and Texas Lawyer, Lisa is well known and respected within the Dallas business community. Lisa made the transition to law firm marketing in 2003 when the late managing partner, Pete Riley of Thompson & Knight, asked her to join the firm in a public relations capacity. She worked at other Dallas law firms, including Godwin Gruber and Gardere Wynne Sewell where she led the communications team to achieve a $1 million PR valuation on a community event involving DISD students. In 2011, Lisa opened her own marketing firm, CM2 Marketing, to assist clients with increasing their exposure.

Lisa is also the co-inventor of a powerful B2B software application, Safer Nation. She brings her entrepreneurial spirit to ever y task to assist clients in achieving efficiencies, significant cost savings, and creative business and marketing solutions.

Lisa is a Board Member of Empowering Women as Leaders, an organization dedication to funding college scholarships for non-traditional women students while providing memberships. She is the former leader of the Dallas City Group of The Legal Marketing Association, having served twice in that capacity. She is a Volunteer Supervisor each year at The Richardson Wildflower Arts and Music Festival, and is active within her church. Lisa resides in Rice, Texas on a farm with her son Dalton and a menagerie of pets.

Lisa received a B.S. in Communication with highest honors from the University of Texas at Arlington and an Associate of Arts and Science from Richland Community College. She also received advanced certificates from King’s College in London and the University of the West Indiesin Jamaica.
